James Parham

Chief Warrant Officer Four (Retired) James A. Parham was born in Newport News, Virginia, and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He enlisted in the Army in 1996 as a Small Arms Repairman and later transitioned to become a Senior Ground Maintenance Warrant Officer (915E). After 25 years of distinguished service, he retired in June 2021.

Throughout his military career, James served in key leadership roles, including Brigade Maintenance Technician and Training, Advising, and Counseling (TAC) Officer. He was instrumental in mentoring the next generation of Army leaders and ensuring operational readiness through innovative problem-solving and strategic planning. His commitment to service extended beyond the military, as he facilitated community projects and supported professional development initiatives for his students and peers.

Following his military service, James earned a Master of Management in Project Management from Troy University in October 2023. This advanced degree built upon his Bachelor of Science in Psychology, also from Troy University, and further honed his expertise in leadership, organizational efficiency, and process improvement. He is also pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Kennesaw State University, with anticipated completion in 2026, to expand his capabilities in managing IT and security challenges in today’s digital world.

James is now pursuing a Master of Science in Psychology – Industrial and Organizational Psychology to formalize his understanding of workplace dynamics and human behavior. He aims to create healthier, more productive organizations and empower individuals through mentorship and innovative strategies. Dedicated to fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and resilience, James continues to exemplify the values of leadership and service that have defined his career.
