Organizational culture and inertia have consistently proven to be a challenge for leaders who are shifting to new working models prioritizing continuous value delivery above all else. The mindset and operational shift from delivery management to value stream management is a steep change.
Most CxO’s who find themselves in this position consistently ask themselves:
Culture is made up of every person, process and protocol in the organisation. Leaders often underestimate their influence in shaping an organization’s culture, so as a CxO if you want to take an organisation on a value stream transition journey, you must create the context and the environment for meaningful and long-lasting change. Each and every environment is different so there isn’t a one size fits all approach to change.
The importance of leadership support to be active and productive voices in the conversation cannot be understated. While change is led in both directions (i.e. top down and bottom up), leaders must use the right language for the transformation to be felt throughout the organization. The first important step is education for yourself if the concepts are new to you.
In this session, learn how to get you and your organization started with culture, tools, education, and practices to create micro-change ultimately leading to macro, long lasting impact in your environment.
